RETURN POLICY:

GENERAL INFORMATION

If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply contact our customer service department within 30 days of receipt of your order and we will gladly refund your order or exchange your item(s). In order to refund or exchange your item(s), we will need the following:

  • 1. A copy of your receipt, which must include your order number.

  • 2. A reason for your return.

  • 3. A valid email address.


Once we receive the required documentation and information, we will issue to you a Return Authorization (“RA”) number and shipping information. RA numbers are valid for 10 business days from the date of issue. A return without a valid RA number will not be accepted. To obtain your RA number, simply send us an email with the information requested above at returns@shop.shanmedical.com. Please note that certain items may only be replaced, unless a replacement is not possible. All such products are clearly marked on their product page. 

 

CONDITION OF RETURNED ITEMS

All return items must be unopened, unused and in salable condition. Return items must contain the original packaging material, manuals, blank warranty cards and accessories provided by the manufacturer. We are unable to accept items that have been discontinued for sale. Credit will not be granted for merchandise that is not in its original condition and is unsuitable for resale. All returns are subject to inspection. With the exception of damaged packages that are marked “DAMAGED,” as required below, merchandise that has been marked or affixed with stickers will not be accepted. Please return all items in packaging that will secure and protect the original items from being damaged by the shipping carrier. If any items are returned in damaged original packaging, we will not be able to offer a refund or exchange.

 

ITEMS SHIPPED IN DAMAGED PACKAGING

 If you received an item in damaged packaging, please open the packaging and inspect the item that you received to determine if it is damaged. If you find that the items contained in the damaged packaging are damaged, please reseal the package, mark it “DAMAGED” and return it to us within five (5) days of receipt. We are unable to offer credit for items shipped in damaged packaging if the items are not returned to us within five (5) days from receipt.

 

ITEMS THAT CANNOT BE RETURNED

Due to health, hygienic and safety rules and regulations, personal hygiene and single-use health care products (products that come in contact with the body) may not be returned. Each non-returnable item Is clearly marked as such on the product page.  Products that may not be returned include, but are not limited to, the following: Hygiene products, toileting products, bathroom products, body braces, egg crate cushions, wheelchair cushions, stockings, splints, etc.

 

RESTOCKING FEES

Certain items are subject to a restocking fee, which will be charged to the credit card used to place the original order. To determine if your item is subject to a restocking fee, please click on the item manufacturer link below.

 

 

RETURN SHIPPING FEES

You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. However, we will pay return shipping costs if returned items were shipped in error, due to incorrect product information listed on our website. If you received items due to an order that you placed in error and would like to return those items, we will not refund the initial shipping charges nor pay for the return shipping charges. Additional shipping charges for exchanges will apply.

 

SHIPPING INFORMATION

We are proud to offer free shipping on all orders in the continental United States and a flat rate shipping fee of $8.00 for all orders in Hawaii and Canada. We reserve the right to select the delivery carrier when shipping orders to you. Some items are not available for shipment to Hawaii, Alaska or Canada, due to their size and weight. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes, as certain shipping carriers will not deliver to P.O. Box addresses. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday.  All orders will be shipped within 24 hours from the time the order is placed (subject to item availability). Due to size and weight, some items may require extra time for delivery. Special and custom orders may take up to 3-4 weeks for delivery. Under no circumstances will items be shipped more than 30 days from the date of order. If we are unable to ship your order within 30 days from the date of your order, we will contact you to determine whether you would like us to cancel your order and issue a refund. We reserve the right to limit quantities and cancel any order that we cannot fill. SALES AND USE TAX

A 6.00% sales tax is automatically applied to your purchase if your shipping address is in Michigan. Purchasers in states other than Michigan are responsible for paying appropriate use or other taxes.

 

WARRANTIES AND DISCLAIMERS

We do not offer any express or implied warranties on any of the products or items sold through our website, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Any and all warranties offered are directly from the manufacturer; please review them carefully. However, we will honor all manufacturer warranties. If you would like to replace or repair an item that is covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, please contact us at ra@shop.shanmedical.com to obtain a Return Authorization (“RA”) number.

 

We cannot be held responsible for any injuries caused by the use of defective products or improper use of the items purchased. By purchasing items from our website, you agree to read all warnings, instructions and labels that are provided with purchased items. We do not inspect or alter items before they are shipped to you and cannot guarantee their safety.

 

ADVERTISING

Any banner advertising will clearly be marked as “Advertising,” or “Advertisement.” Please click here if you would like to advertise on our website.

 

APPLICABLE LAW

By visiting this website, you agree that the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and us.

Restocking Fees:

Returned items manufactured by JOBST are subject to a 10% restocking fee. 

Invacare
Returned items manufactured by INVACARE are subject to a 35% restocking fee. The restocking fee will be charged to the credit card used to place the original order.

BSN / FLA
Returned items manufactured by BSN are subject to a 25% restocking fee. The restocking fee will be charged to the credit card used to place the original order. 

Drive Medical
Returned items manufactured by DRIVE MEDICAL are subject to a 30% restocking fee. The restocking fee will be charged to the credit card used to place the original order. 

Devilbiss
Returned items manufactured by DEVILBISS HEALTHCARE are subject to a 30% restocking fee. The restocking fee will be charged to the credit card used to place the original order. 

Medi Compression Stockings
Returned items manufactured by Medi are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Juzo Compression Stockings
Returned items manufactured by Juzo are subject to a 25% restocking fee. The restocking fee will be charged to the credit card used to place the original order

Returned items manufactured by Sigvaris are subject to a 25% restocking fee. The restocking fee will be charged to the credit card used to place the original order.

Prodigy
Returned items manufactured by Prodigy Diabetic Supplies must be in the original package and not opened. When an RA is approved for the products they will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. The restocking fee will be charged to the credit card used to place the orginal order. 

Aspen

Returned items manufactured by Aspen are subject to a 30% restocking fee. The restocking fee will be charged to the credit card used to place the original order.
